This is a case study of Qingdao Qiangda Foods Co., Ltd., a private enterprise mainly engaged in the production of sweet chillies and chilli products. From the perspective of win-win cooperation, it depicts in detail the enterprise’s approach to utilizing increasingly limited resources by exploring a new chilli-growing region with residents of a Xinjiang township based on the region’s growing environment, its initiative to join the chilli association, and its journey of hope and anxiety to encourage other enterprises to reduce cutthroat competition and facilitate the upgrading of Jiaozhou’s chilli industry. It aims to provide lessons for the continuous optimization and upgrading of China’s chilli industry and the entire agriculture industry.
