Race, Work, and Leadership: New Perspectives on the Black Experience, 4. Intersectionality and the Careers of Black Women Lawyers
- チャプター
Race, Work, and Leadership is a rare and important compilation of essays edited by Laura Morgan Roberts, Anthony J. Mayo, and David A. Thomas that examines how race matters in people's experience of work and leadership. The first section-comprising chapters 2 through 4-discusses history and critical questions in Black business leadership. Chapter 4 discusses the significance of race in the careers of Black lawyers using a survey taken in 2016-2017 of all the living Black alumni of Harvard Law School about their careers since graduating. While much progress has been made, Black HLS graduates as a whole-and Black female graduates in particular-continue to face significant obstacles in their legal careers.
